Pearl White always looks simple in photos and then does something completely different in person. It's not just white, it's got this soft shimmer that catches the light and glows a little, like the color equivalent of a good poker face.
This one's a custom T Classic and the inspiration is right there in the name. Tom Anderson took the Fender Telecaster, the guitar that basically invented the solid body electric, and decided the blueprint was worth keeping but not worth leaving alone. Basswood body keeps things light and resonant, caramel maple neck and board give it that fast, slightly sweet feel under your hand, and the even taper carve is one of those necks you stop noticing because it just fits.
Pickup-wise it's not playing by original Tele rules either. The HC1 in the neck is a proper humbucker under that open black cover, so you get real thickness there, while the TF3 in the bridge keeps the twang and snap this shape built its reputation on. Five-way switching means you're not choosing between vintage and modern, you get both whenever you want.
I love a Tele that still sounds like a Tele but stops pretending it's 1952.
