Shipping policy
At The Vibrato Bar, we take exceptional care in preparing and shipping every instrument. Our goal is to ensure your purchase arrives safely, securely and as efficiently as possible.
Shipping & Processing
We offer shipping throughout Canada, the United States and internationally on eligible products, subject to applicable shipping requirements. We use trusted carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL and Canpar.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within one business day. While we make every effort to ship orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time on the same business day, processing and delivery times are not guaranteed.
Every instrument is carefully inspected and securely packaged to minimize movement and protect it during transit.
Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Shipping Rates
The Vibrato Bar offers complimentary shipping on eligible instruments to most destinations within Canada and the United States.
Shipping rates vary depending on the instrument, destination, package size and applicable carrier charges. Certain instruments, including bass guitars, may be subject to additional shipping charges.
International shipping rates are calculated or displayed at checkout.
Additional charges may apply to remote destinations or shipments requiring special handling. If we are unable to fulfill an order at the shipping rate provided at checkout, we will contact you before proceeding. No additional shipping charges will be collected without your approval. If we cannot fulfill the order on the agreed terms, you may cancel for a full refund.
Shipping Eligibility & Manufacturer Guidelines
The Vibrato Bar proudly serves customers throughout Canada, the United States and internationally. Shipping availability, complimentary shipping offers and prepaid import charges may vary by product, manufacturer and destination.
Certain products may be subject to manufacturer distribution policies and geographic shipping restrictions. Shipping eligibility is determined on an individual product basis. Please contact us directly to discuss shipping options for a particular instrument.
International Shipping, Duties & Taxes
United States
The Vibrato Bar generally arranges and prepays applicable import duties and customs charges for shipments to the United States when expressly included in the order.
Any charges not specifically included in the purchase or confirmed in writing remain the responsibility of the customer, subject to applicable law.
International Destinations Outside Canada and the United States
Customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance charges and other import related expenses assessed by their destination country.
These charges are not included in our standard international shipping rate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate customs information and cooperating with reasonable import clearance requirements.
Refused, Unclaimed or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is refused, abandoned or returned because the recipient fails to pay applicable import charges, provide required customs documentation or accept delivery, the customer may be responsible for the actual costs incurred.
These may include original shipping, return shipping, duties, taxes, brokerage, storage and other nonrecoverable expenses.
Any applicable refund will be determined after the instrument has been returned and inspected, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Signature Confirmation & Delivery
All instrument shipments require signature confirmation.
The Vibrato Bar may require additional delivery verification, an adult signature or delivery to an approved carrier pickup location.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
A carrier's confirmed delivery date and time will ordinarily be used to determine the start of any applicable voluntary return window.
Shipping Insurance, Loss & Damage
The Vibrato Bar arranges shipment protection for instrument orders.
If a shipment is reported lost or missing, we will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier. Where the carrier confirms that a shipment has been lost, we will arrange a refund or another mutually agreed resolution. Carrier investigations and insurance claims do not limit applicable statutory rights or remedies.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery.
Please retain the original shipping carton, protective packaging and all included materials. Photographs may be requested to assist with documenting damage and initiating a carrier claim.
We will work with the customer and carrier toward an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.
Shipping Addresses & Order Verification
Orders may be shipped to an address different from the billing address, subject to approval and verification.
For security purposes, The Vibrato Bar reserves the right to request additional information, verify transaction details, delay shipment or cancel and refund orders that cannot be satisfactorily verified.
Address changes after an order has been placed require approval and cannot be guaranteed once a shipment is in transit.
Shipments to freight forwarding services and other higher risk destinations may require additional verification or may be declined.
Local Pickup
Customers selecting local pickup will be contacted to arrange a convenient pickup appointment.
Orders must be collected by an authorized individual, and identification or purchase verification may be required.
Order Acceptance
The Vibrato Bar reserves the right to decline or cancel orders where fulfillment is not possible, including due to shipping restrictions, inventory errors, suspected fraud or other legitimate operational reasons.
If we cancel an order, all amounts paid for that order will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection legislation.
