At the heart of this build is a lightweight 2-piece Swamp Ash body finished in a gloss Black Burst that shows off the grain without being flashy. Paired with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard, it delivers a fast feel with exceptional note definition and stability. The Even C RB neck carve (.800–.850), 10"-14" compound radius, and stainless steel frets make bending, vibrato, and speed feel effortless — the kind of modern playability you can only get from a boutique build.

Electronics are where this Custom really separates itself. This one runs a SSV neck humbucker and a Thornbucker II bridge humbucker, selectable via a 3-way blade, with an additional 3-way mini toggle for Series / Split / Parallel switching. That setup gives you far more range than a typical Classic S — from thick, sustaining neck tones to articulate split-coil sparkle to tight, aggressive bridge rhythm.

Hardware is equally dialed: a Suhr 2-post tremolo with steel block, Tusq nut, and Suhr locking tuners keep tuning rock solid, even under heavy trem use. No squeaks, no binding, no drama.
