The PRS SE Chleo in Orchid Dusk is built to stand out before you even plug it in. Built from the ground up by PRS and Herman Li of DragonForce, the SE Chleo is designed to be the ultimate PRS Shred guitar. The Orchid Dusk finish has a deep coloring that moves between purple and darker tones depending on the light, sitting over a flame maple veneer that adds texture and flare. The carved top and sharped body lines top gives it a sharper, more aggressive silhouette, while the smoked black hardware and Floyd Rose system push it firmly into modern territory. The ebony board with Eclipse Dragon inlays ties it all together visually, giving it that signature, high-performance aesthetic that feels both flashy and precise without looking overdone.

In hand, this guitar is all about speed and control. The Chleo neck profile is slim and fast under your fingers with the 20” ebony fretboard ontop. The jumbo frets make bending and fast runs effortless, while the 25.5” scale keeps the note response tight. The bolt-on maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement adds stability, and the Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo keeps tuning stability consistent under aggressive use. It is purpose-built for technical playing, but still comfortable enough to not feel overly rigid or demanding.

The Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li pickups are what really define this guitar. They are tight, precise, and articulate under high gain, keeping complex chords and fast passages clean. The bridge has a sharp, aggressive attack while the neck rounds things out with a smoother, more fluid voice for leads. The middle pickup and 5-way switching add extra range, and the push/pull controls unlock multiple voicings for each pickup, giving you everything from modern, high-output tones to cleaner, more dynamic sounds.
