The Johnny Hiland Signature quietly flew under the radar during its short production run, but it's one of the most distinctive bolt on guitars PRS has ever built. Produced for just a few years, it wasn't simply a CE with a signature on the headstock. It received its own neck carve, custom voiced pickups, maple fretboard, unique inlays, and a feel that's unmistakably its own. If you've ever wished a CE had just a little more snap, a little more authority, and a little more personality, this is exactly where you end up.
Then there's the top. Finished in Violin Amber, the curly maple on this guitar is exceptional. Tight, consistent flame stretches from edge to edge, and the way the finish brings it to life gives the guitar a warmth that feels timeless.
Plugged in, the Johnny Hiland pickups deliver exactly what you'd expect from the man himself. The bridge is articulate, punchy, and full of twang when you ask for it, while the neck stays warm and expressive without ever becoming muddy.
