The PRS DGT (David Grissom Trem) is built for players who want vintage tone without the vintage hassle. The result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom, the DGT delivers the feel, response, and musicality of a well-loved old guitar — straight out of the case.

This example features a Charcoal finish over a Flame Maple Select top, paired with a Mahogany back and neck and an East Indian Rosewood fretboard with classic Moon inlays. It’s understated, elegant, and unmistakably serious — the kind of guitar that looks better the longer you own it.

The Grissom neck carve is the heart of the DGT experience: slightly fuller, incredibly comfortable, and finished with taller frets that make bends, vibrato, and dynamic phrasing effortless. It’s a neck that feels broken-in from the first chord.

Tonally, the DGT humbuckers are all about clarity, warmth, and touch sensitivity. Dual volume controls let you blend pickups with precision, while the push/pull tone control unlocks convincing single-coil textures without thinning out. From clean to edge-of-breakup to pushed tones, the DGT responds exactly how a great player’s guitar should.

Finished with a Gen II PRS tremolo, Nickel hardware, and housed in a D1 molded case, the PRS DGT isn’t just a signature model — it’s a lifetime instrument built for players who value feel, tone, and musical connection above all else.
