The PRS Custom 24 is the original PRS model, celebrated for its flawless playability, versatility, and iconic tone since 1985. This example, however, is far more than a standard Custom 24 — it’s a true Sprayer’s Choice one-off, uniquely finished by PRS’s top painters with full creative freedom. These finishes aren’t ordered, cataloged, or repeated.
This one is stunning. The top features a select Flame Maple cap finished in a pearl fade that shifts from vibrant Miami pink into green/blue with metallic depth. Under stage light, the pearl effect comes alive — colors bloom, edges glow, and the fade takes on that unmistakable “color-shift” quality that makes Sprayer’s Choice guitars so coveted. It’s bold and modern but still very tasteful — the kind of finish that photographs can’t quite catch because it moves with the light.
Underneath the paint is a classic Custom 24 foundation: a Mahogany back and Mahogany neck, carved to Pattern Thin for fast, contemporary feel. An East Indian Rosewood fretboard and matching veneer deliver warmth and elegance, while the iconic PRS Birds tie it all together.
Hardware and electronics are dialed in for serious performance. The Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners keep things stable under heavy use, while Nickel hardware maintains a clean, professional aesthetic that doesn’t compete with the fade. Powered by DMO treble & bass pickups, this Custom 24 delivers a Dynamic, Musical, and Open voice — with clarity, punch, and versatility across the 5-way blade switch.
