The PRS Custom 24 is the guitar that started it all, but this custom Sprayer’s Choice build takes that familiar platform somewhere completely different. Built around a flame maple top with a natural mahogany back and ziricote appointments, it combines classic PRS design with one of the most striking finishes we've ever seen leave the factory.

For those unfamiliar, Sprayer’s Choice is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of selecting from PRS’s standard finish menu, the PRS finishing team is given creative freedom to build something unique. The result is often a true one-off finish that can't be ordered again and may never be repeated. Every Sprayer’s Choice guitar is an opportunity for the artists in the finishing department to show what they're capable of when the rulebook gets thrown out the window.

This example is absolutely spectacular. The top is finished in a deep gunmetal grey that shifts between charcoal, silver, and almost black depending on the light. Buried beneath it is an incredible holographic flake that explodes with color as the guitar moves. Blues, greens, purples, reds, and golds dance across the surface. The contrast against the natural mahogany body and neck makes the entire instrument feel even more exotic and custom-built.

Beyond the aesthetics, this is everything players love about a Custom 24. The Pattern Thin mahogany neck feels fast and effortless, the ziricote fretboard adds a luxurious touch, and the DMO pickups deliver outstanding clarity, punch, and articulation.
