The PRS 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Satin Limited Edition is a rare celebration of four decades of PRS artistry, limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. This particular example goes even further: it is a true Sprayer’s Choice one-off, uniquely finished by PRS’s top painters with complete creative freedom. The result is a stunning custom Transparent Blue top paired with a Satin Blueberry back and neck — a finish combination that exists only on this guitar.

Its beautifully Figured Mango top was chosen for its maple-like tonal character and its captivating, almost liquid visual depth. The satin nitrocellulose finish enhances resonance and touch sensitivity, giving the instrument a smooth, organic response that feels alive in the hands.

Beneath the top, a hand-selected mahogany body and one-piece mahogany neck are carved into the fast and comfortable Pattern Thin profile. The 25" scale length, 24 frets, and Gaboon ebony fingerboard provide the classic Custom 24 feel, while the Green Abalone “Old School” Birds with Mother of Pearl outlines add an elegant anniversary flourish. Matching the fretboard, the Gaboon ebony headstock veneer showcases the Green Abalone Pre-Factory Eagle with MOP outline — a nod to PRS’s earliest designs.

Tone comes from the anniversary-appropriate DMO Treble and Bass pickups (Dynamic, Musical, Open), engineered with Paul Reed Smith for wide-open clarity and vocal midrange presence. The 5-way blade, Gen III tremolo, and Phase III locking tuners ensure expressive versatility and bulletproof stability, all grounded by sleek smoked black hardware.

This guitar includes a PRS D1 molded case, completing a limited edition that blends collectible significance with an utterly unique aesthetic.
