The PRS Custom 24 is the guitar that launched PRS and remains the benchmark for the modern boutique electric guitar world. This particular example pushes that formula further with one of the most sought after upgrades PRS offers: a one piece rosewood neck, a feature now reserved exclusively for the Private Stock program. Beyond its striking appearance, rosewood necks are prized for the added richness, harmonic complexity, and smooth top end they bring to the instrument, giving this Custom 24 a noticeably more luxurious and articulate voice than its standard mahogany neck counterparts.
This one was also highly optioned with a 10 Top, elevating it into true top-tier territory. Between the premium top grade, one piece rosewood neck, and flagship Custom 24 platform, this is about as desirable and fully loaded as a non-Private Stock PRS gets.
Finished in Burnt Maple Leaf over a beautifully figured 10 Top flame maple cap, this guitar has the kind of depth that reminds you why PRS became famous for tops in the first place. The warm amber and burnt orange hues pair perfectly with the dark rosewood neck and board, creating a look that feels timeless.
