The PRS Custom 24-08 Sprayer’s Choice takes one of PRS’s most versatile modern platforms and turns it into a true, unrepeatable work of art. As part of the exclusive Sprayer’s Choice program, this guitar was finished with zero constraints, giving the artist total freedom to create something that will never be duplicated. The result is nothing short of spectacular.
Up front, the guitar features a faded indigo/charcoal top over a stunning Flame Maple select carve, with depth and movement that feels almost liquid. The figure comes alive under light, shifting and rolling as you move the guitar. Flip it over and things get even wilder: the back is finished in a Silver Microburst that’s absolutely insane — bright, metallic, and futuristic, yet still refined. It’s a finish you rarely (if ever) see on a Custom 24, and it completely transforms the instrument’s presence.
What truly pushes this into one-off territory is the matching Silver Microburst neck. This is an exceptionally rare visual choice that ties the entire guitar together, front to back, and gives it a cohesive, custom-built aesthetic you simply won’t find again. It’s bold without being gaudy, modern without losing elegance, exactly what Sprayer’s Choice is all about.
Beneath the finish is the legendary Custom 24-08 platform: a Flame Maple select top, Mahogany back, and Mahogany neck, paired with an East Indian Rosewood fretboard and matching veneer adorned with classic Bird inlays. The Pattern Thin carve delivers the fast, comfortable feel players expect, while the Gen III PRS tremolo and Nickel hardware provide rock-solid stability and smooth performance.
Tonally, the TCI pickups deliver articulate, balanced response with exceptional clarity, while the 24-08 switching system opens up a huge range of usable sounds from full, powerful humbucker tones to refined, chimier textures. It’s a guitar that’s as versatile as it is visually striking.
Finished off with a D1 molded case, this Custom 24-08 isn’t just another high-end PRS — it’s a true Sprayer’s Choice statement piece. A one-of-one instrument with finishes you will not see again, built for players and collectors who want something genuinely special.
