The PRS 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Satin Limited Edition, a rare homage to four decades of PRS craftsmanship, is strictly limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. This remarkable edition redefines the classic Custom 24 by showcasing a beautifully figured mango top, chosen for its tonal similarity to maple and its alluring, almost “quilted” visual depth. Its satin nitrocellulose finish enhances natural resonance, delivering smooth playability and rich, organic tone.
Beneath the exquisite top lies hand-selected mahogany body and neck, artfully sculpted into PRS’s acclaimed Pattern Thin profile with a comfortable 25″ scale length, 24 frets, and a 10″ ebony fretboard featuring elegant “Old School” bird inlays with outlines. Complementing the fretboard, the ebony headstock veneer bears the iconic “Pre-Factory” eagle logo, honoring PRS’s earliest designs. The look is grounded by smoked black hardware, subtly stylish and visually bold.
Players will find sophistication in its performance: the guitar is armed with PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups—Dynamic, Musical, Open—engineered by Paul Reed Smith and his New Products Engineering team to deliver open, vocal-like tones across the spectrum. A 5-way blade switch, along with Volume and Tone controls, unlocks tremendous tonal versatility—from crystal-clear single-coil brightness to robust humbucker warmth. Stability and responsiveness are assured thanks to the Gen III PRS tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, both hallmarks of PRS reliability.
Each guitar comes packaged in a PRS ATA multi-fit molded case (D1) and includes a hand-signed 40th Anniversary certificate from Paul Reed Smith himself—making it both a high-performance instrument and a coveted collectible piece.
