The Powers Electric A Type in Orange Pearl stands out immediately with a design language that feels unlike anything else on the wall. Inspired by vintage American car styling and Southern California surf culture, its flowing lines and sculpted trussed hollowbody construction give it a light, resonant feel while staying tight and controlled in the hands. What really sets this one apart is the finish. Orange Pearl isn't part of the standard production colour palette, making this a true custom finish, and I think it's one of the best looking A Types I've seen. It has incredible warmth and depth, and absolutely comes alive under the light.
The hardware and pickups are where this guitar really shines. The FF42 Grey pickups keep things clear and articulate with splashes of that airy hollowbody character, but are still focused enough to handle gain without becoming muddy. The CamTail vibrato is smooth and expressive, making everything from subtle movement to more adventurous playing feel effortless. It's easy to appreciate on paper, but it makes a lot more sense the moment it's in your hands.
