Designed by renowned Swedish luthier Johan Gustavsson and built during Premier Builders Guild's ambitious collaboration with some of the world's most respected boutique builders, the Bluesmaster Special takes its inspiration from the legendary Gibson Les Paul Special. Rather than simply recreating a classic, Gustavsson refined the formula with exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful appointments, and an unmistakably boutique feel. Every curve, carve, and detail feels deliberate. It's lightweight, incredibly resonant, and built with an attention to detail that's immediately apparent the moment you pick it up.
Finished in classic TV Yellow, the Bluesmaster Special keeps things beautifully simple. A solid mahogany body, wraparound bridge, and a pair of Lollar P-90s deliver everything from woody cleans to snarling overdrive with remarkable clarity and touch sensitivity. The late '50s inspired neck feels substantial without becoming cumbersome. It's the sort of instrument that responds to every nuance of your playing, rewarding a lighter touch just as much as an aggressive attack. Boutique in every sense of the word, yet refreshingly free of unnecessary frills.
