The Novo Voltur in Bull Black is dark, aggressive, and effortlessly cool — a modern offset with serious attitude and unmistakable stage presence.
Bull Black with an Extra Light distress gives this Voltur a sleek, broken-in feel without overdoing it. The subtle checking and wear let the finish breathe while keeping that bold, almost menacing vibe. Paired with the gold plexi pickguard, cream P-90 covers, and gold bell knob, the contrast is striking — refined, edgy, and undeniably premium.
Built from tempered pine, the body is lightweight, resonant, and alive. It has that woody, open bloom Novo is known for — chords expand, notes hang, and the whole instrument vibrates against you. The tempered maple 4/4 neck adds snap and stability, while the East Indian rosewood fingerboard brings warmth and smoothness under the fingers.
The Medium C (.830") carve feels instantly comfortable — substantial without being bulky. With a 9.5"-14" compound radius, Jescar 47095 medium frets (.095 x .047), and a 25.5" scale, this Voltur plays fast, clean, and articulate while still holding onto its vintage soul.
Loaded with Fralin P-90s, the tone is punchy, dynamic, and harmonically rich. Expect clear, chimey cleans, thick edge-of-breakup grit, and a bold midrange that cuts through a mix without ever feeling harsh.
The Mastery M1 bridge and NV vibrato with Lightning Bolt arm provide exceptional tuning stability and a smooth, expressive feel — subtle shimmer or dramatic movement, it responds beautifully.
