The Novo Serus J Custom in Lake Como Blue blends vintage inspired offset design with Novo’s unmistakably modern Nashville approach. From the tempered woods to the hardware choices, everything about this build feels intentional and player focused. It captures the spirit of old school American guitars while delivering the refinement and feel that has made Novo one of the most respected boutique builders in the game.
Lake Como Blue paired with the gold plexi pickguard gives this Serus J an incredibly classy look with just the right amount of attitude. The medium distress treatment keeps it feeling broken in and natural without overdoing it, while the matching headstock, black P90 covers, and witch hat knobs tie the whole aesthetic together perfectly. It feels equal parts vintage cool and custom shop showpiece.
The tempered pine body gives the guitar a lively, resonant character with plenty of openness and snap, while the Fralin P90s bring warmth, punch, and midrange growl in all the right ways. Clean tones feel rich and dynamic, and when pushed, the guitar delivers raw edge and harmonic complexity without losing clarity. Combined with the Mastery bridge and NV vibrato, this Serus J feels expressive, responsive, and incredibly addictive to play.
