Mayones Duvell Elite 7 Baritone 26.5 | Black & White Swirl (Custom Finish)

This is the first of its kind from Mayones, and the finish is the entire story. We have a Duvell Elite 7 with a completely custom black and white swirl covering the swamp ash body and matching headstock. Swirls have an iconic history in the guitar world, particularly through the Ibanez JEM era, but they're notoriously difficult to execute well. Coloors bleed, patterns become muddy and definition gets lost. Coming from a self-appointed swirl aficionado, this one is about as good as it gets. The separation is incredible, with razor-sharp black and white lines flowing across the entire instrument without ever turning into visual mush.

Mayones carried the swirl across the front, back, sides, and finished it in satin. The pattern moves from huge sweeping sections into impossibly fine ribbons, making every part of the guitar completely unique. It's wild without looking messy, which is exactly what separates a great swirl from an average one.

Underneath it is a serious Duvell Elite 7: swamp ash body, five-piece wenge and purpleheart neck, ebony fingerboard, stainless steel frets and an extended 26.5" scale that adds tension, clarity and definition to the low B without feeling like an unwieldy full baritone. Velvetrone Ironside and Solium humbuckers, versatile five-way switching and black Hipshot hardware finish off a build that is every bit as purposeful as it is completely insane to look at.
