The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special brings a fresh twist to the SE lineup, blending classic tonewoods with a versatile pickup configuration. Its swamp ash body delivers a crisp, articulate sound, while the 22-fret maple neck and fretboard add snap and clarity to every note. At the heart of this guitar is a unique triple-pickup setup: PRS 85/15 “S” humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, with a PRS-Designed AS-01 Single Coil in the middle. This custom single-coil combines alnico and steel elements for a punchy, dynamic response. A 5-way switch and push/pull tone control unlock a wide range of tones—from rich, warm leads to cutting twang—making it a go-to for anything from blues to rock and even jazz. Topped off with PRS’s signature tremolo, the SE Swamp Ash Special is a versatile workhorse that stands out in both looks and sound.
