The Frank Brothers Radar Deluxe in Royal Silver Burst leans into that late 70s Gibson SG silverburst aesthetic, reworked with a modern boutique edge. Instead of staying strictly vintage, it brings in a purple halo around the perimeter that gives it a completely different energy. It still carries that familiar silver center, but the added depth and color make it feel more refined and distinctly its own without losing the attitude that made the original finish so iconic.
In hand, it delivers a modern boutique take on an SG feel. There is a natural midrange push and warmth, but it stays clear and responsive as you dig in or bring up the gain. It does not fight you or feel overbuilt, it just responds exactly how you want it to.
