The Frank Brothers Radar Deluxe in Rose Bronze leans into that aged and faded cherry Gibson SG aesthetic, reworked through a modern boutique lens. Instead of a straight vintage red, this finish carries a softened, bronzed warmth that feels like a well loved SG that has naturally mellowed over time. There is a subtle metallic quality that lifts it just enough, giving it depth and movement without taking away from that broken in, familiar character.
In hand, it delivers a modern boutique take on an SG feel. There is that natural midrange push and warmth you expect, but it stays clear and responsive as you dig in or bring up the gain. It does not feel stiff or overbuilt, it just reacts the way a great guitar should. If you are drawn to the look and voice of a worn in cherry SG but want something more refined and unique, this Radar Deluxe lands right in that pocket.
