The Frank Brothers Radar Deluxe in Holographic Pearl V2 takes the unmistakable influence of the Gibson SG and gives it an entirely fresh personality. The familiar double cutaway silhouette, twin humbuckers, and classic four knob layout immediately evoke that iconic design, while the distinctive body contours, custom pickguard, and beautifully executed details make this something entirely its own.
But that finish is the real showstopper. An incredible rainbow holographic pearl effect transforms the guitar depending on how the light hits it. Deep midnight blue and shimmering teal give way to emerald green, violet, copper, and subtle flashes of gold. The fine metallic sparkle creates a beautiful appearance, and the fact that it wraps around the entire guitar, including the back of the neck, makes it even more spectacular.
The vintage inspired appointments provide a beautiful contrast to the futuristic finish. FBGC V.O. Humbuckers, an ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and a Macassar Ebony fingerboard give the guitar a wonderfully classic character. The Genuine Mahogany construction, Classic Medium C neck carve, and 24.75" scale complete an instrument that feels as thoughtfully considered as it looks.
A seriously cool interpretation of the classic Gibson SG formula. Familiar in all the right ways, but with a spectacular holographic finish that makes it impossible to mistake for anything else.
