The unmistakable attitude of a Gibson SG, reimagined through the incredible craftsmanship of Frank Brothers. This Radar Deluxe takes that legendary double cutaway silhouette and gives it a personality all its own, combining vintage inspiration, boutique appointments, and one of the coolest finishes we've seen on this model.
And that finish is absolutely spectacular. Cadillac Green meets Surf Green Doghair, creating a gorgeous contrast between the rich metallic green and the lighter turquoise grain that runs throughout the body. The effect is particularly striking against the black five ply pickguard, nickel hardware, and beautifully dark Macassar Ebony fingerboard. Even the neck and back of the headstock receive the same treatment, making this an exceptionally cohesive build from every angle.
Built around a Genuine Mahogany body and neck, the Radar Deluxe features Frank Brothers' Classic Modern C profile, a comfortable 24.75" scale length, and Jescar 55085 frets. A pair of FBGC V.O. humbuckers completes the electronics, while the traditional two volume, two tone layout and three way switching keep everything familiar. The ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece complete the classic formula.
What makes the Radar Deluxe so appealing is how naturally it captures the spirit of the Gibson SG without simply recreating it. The familiar double cutaway design, understated appointments, and old school electronics are all there, but the distinctive Frank Brothers body shape, beautiful craftsmanship, and extraordinary finish give it an identity entirely its own.
