Fender FSR Traditional Stratocaster XII 12-String | Olympic White

The Fender FSR Made in Japan Traditional Stratocaster XII is one of those wonderfully unusual Fender models you simply do not see very often. Taking the unmistakable shape and feel of a Stratocaster and turning it into a full 12 string electric, Fender created something that feels familiar in your hands but produces an entirely different sound. Huge, shimmering chords, natural chorus and that unmistakable electric 12 string jangle make this an incredible texture machine.

Built in Japan as a limited FSR model, this example is finished in classic Olympic White with a rosewood fingerboard and vintage inspired appointments throughout. Three Stratocaster single coils and five way switching give it considerably more tonal range than most traditional electric 12 strings, moving from bright and articulate to warmer, fuller sounds while retaining all of that harmonic complexity.

The dedicated 12 saddle hardtail bridge is another major part of what makes these so good, allowing each string to be individually intonated rather than treating the courses as pairs. Rare, unmistakably Fender and genuinely useful in a collection, the Stratocaster XII is the kind of guitar that can really round out a collection.
