The Fano Oltre JM6 takes one of the most iconic offset designs ever made and gives it the boutique Fano treatment. There’s an unmistakable Fender Jazzmaster influence in the silhouette, but the JM6 is very much its own thing, with a beautifully aged 3-Tone Sunburst finish, parchment guard, cream Lollar P-90s and a TonePros T.O.M. and stoptail setup. The light distressing is especially well done, giving it the character of a guitar that’s been played for decades without feeling overdone.
Fano has built an incredible reputation for taking familiar vintage inspiration and refining it into something that feels genuinely special. The build quality, fretwork, finishing and attention to detail are absolutely top tier, and this one pairs an alder body with a maple neck, rosewood board and 9.5"–12" compound radius for a decidedly modern level of playability. At just 7 lbs 12 oz, with a pair of Lollar P-90s, it’s an incredibly cool combination of vintage offset attitude, boutique craftsmanship and a little extra muscle.
