The USA Dunable Asteroid 7 represents the next evolution in Dunable’s extended-range lineup—part of the brand’s first generation of 7-string builds that debuted at NAMM and officially launched Dunable into extended-range territory. What makes this example even more special is that it is hand-signed by Sacha Dunable himself, adding a unique level of authenticity and collectibility to an already significant early 7-string build.

Handcrafted in Dunable’s USA Custom Shop, the Asteroid is a bold, modern take on a classic V-style platform. Designed for perfect balance and aggressive performance, it feels fast, lightweight, and incredibly responsive the moment you pick it up.

This build features a black limba body and neck, delivering rich midrange warmth and lively resonance, paired with an ebony fingerboard for added articulation and snap. The 666mm scale keeps the low B tight and focused, while Jescar FW51100 stainless frets provide ultra-smooth playability and long-term durability.

Finished in a Black Stain Transparent satin, the natural grain of the limba subtly shows through the dark finish, complemented by purple dash inlays, aged nickel hardware, and a black 3-ply pickguard for a clean but striking aesthetic.

Under the hood, Dunable Direwolf 7 pickups deliver massive output, clarity, and tight low-end response. Combined with Hipshot locking tuners, a Hipshot TOM/Stop bridge, and a straightforward 3-way switching layout, the Asteroid is built for players who want pure, uncompromising performance across all seven strings.
