Aristides 060R | R Yellow

The Aristides 060R does away with traditional tonewoods entirely, replacing them with Aristides' proprietary Arium construction. Developed following years of acoustic research, Arium forms the resonant core of an integrally layered exoskeleton, with the body and neck constructed as one continuous structure. The result is an incredibly stable and consistent instrument with exceptional sustain and resonance. 

The "R" stands for Raw, and that's an important distinction. Rather than receiving a conventional painted finish, the colored exoskeleton itself is exposed and protected with a special nano coating. On this example, that means the absolutely wild R-Yellow you see is part of the Raw construction itself. 

This 060R pairs its 25.5" scale and black Richlite fretboard with matching yellow offset dots and a yellow 060 12th-fret inlay. The HSS configuration features a Seymour Duncan Custom in the bridge with Seymour Duncan Alnico II single coils in the middle and neck, controlled by a volume, tone and 5-way switch. A Hipshot fixed bridge, Hipshot locking tuners and all-black hardware complete the build.

At just 7 lbs 2 oz, it's an exceptionally modern six-string with a construction method that's genuinely unlike the traditional guitars surrounding it.
