The Suhr Modern Antique Limited Edition is a handcrafted tribute to the classic tonewood pairings John Suhr has cherished for decades. Combining vintage-inspired aesthetics with Suhr’s modern precision, this limited edition model blends timeless character with elite, stage-ready performance.
At its foundation, the Modern Antique features a basswood body with a plain maple top, delivering a balanced tonal voice with clarity, warmth, and musicality. Its roasted flame maple neck and fingerboard offer exceptional stability and eye-catching visual appeal, while the M.E. neck profile (.780–.830) and 10"–14" compound radius create a fast, effortless feel across the entire fretboard.
For tone shaping, the Modern Antique is equipped with SSV, V63 Plus, and SSH Plus pickups, paired with a 5-way switch, blower switch, and push-pull bridge split—a powerful combination that unlocks everything from vintage sweetness to modern, high-gain aggression with total control.
Finished in a classic lacquer that captures the vibe of a well-loved instrument, this limited edition merges old-school charm with Suhr’s advanced engineering. A Suhr 2-post bridge with bent saddles and Suhr locking tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability and flawless performance.
The Suhr Modern Antique Limited Edition: the perfect harmony of tradition, innovation, and boutique craftsmanship.
