This Suhr Classic T is a unicorn. The chambered roasted swamp ash body already puts it in boutique territory — but the high-grade walnut top takes it somewhere you almost never see anymore. Clean, dark, bookmatched walnut of this quality has become extremely scarce; most builders can’t get tops like this today. Visually, it’s warm, refined, and organic. Tonally, it adds focus and articulation that pairs beautifully with the semi-hollow design.
The F-hole and black satin shorty guard tie together a modern-meets-vintage aesthetic, while the SSV neck humbucker and Classic T bridge single coil give you everything from sweet, vocal neck tones to bright, snappy T-style bite. It’s versatile without ever sounding sterile.
The neck is just as premium: 3A roasted Birdseye Maple with Ebony, Suhr’s Even C Medium carve, 22 stainless steel frets, and a 10–14" compound radius. Smooth satin finish, locking tuners — it’s built to play effortlessly and last forever.
