I love it when a guitar looks understated until you actually start reading the spec sheet. At first glance, this Seafoam SX GTR is just a beautifully finished 7-string. Then you notice the set-neck construction, swamp ash body, wenge fingerboard, and multiscale layout stretching from 25.5" to 27.8". Suddenly you realize this thing means business.
Ormsby has built a reputation by asking, "What does a modern player actually need?" rather than following tradition for tradition's sake. That longer bass side keeps the low string tight and articulate, while the shorter treble side still feels familiar under your fingers.
