This Gnarwhal 7 delivers the tight low-end response and clarity modern players demand, while keeping the feel fast and balanced. The black limba body and matching black limba neck bring a rich, complex midrange with warmth and punch, while the rosewood fretboard adds smooth articulation and snap. Jescar FW51100 stainless frets ensure durability and an ultra-slick playing surface that feels dialed in from the first note.
Visually, this one is on another level. The quilted sapele top under a Natural with Light Brown Burst satin finish is absolutely stunning. The figuring moves under light with depth and dimension, creating that three-dimensional, almost liquid effect boutique players chase. It’s organic, warm, and alive — a perfect contrast to the aggressive extended-range platform beneath it. No pickguard, no distractions — just wood and detail front and center.
Hardware is performance-driven: black appointments throughout, Hipshot locking tuners, and a Hipshot TOM/Stop bridge for rock-solid tuning stability and sustain. Slugwolf pickups deliver thick, authoritative low end, focused mids, and articulate highs that stay tight under gain but retain clarity for complex chords and clean passages. The stripped-down 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3-Way layout keeps it direct and stage-ready.
