The Aristides 070 in Bronze Oxidized looks like it came from a dystopian future. The Bronze Oxidized is unlike anything else on our wall. Built through a multi-stage metallization process using real metal particles, the surface is chemically oxidized and hand-finished, creating an organic patina with darkened edges, exposed bronze highlights, and natural variation throughout. No two ever age or wear the same. Against the hybrid black and gold hardware and yellow offset dot inlays, the whole thing has this industrial, futuristic look that feels aggressive without looking overdesigned.
In hand, the Aristides difference is immediate. The one-piece Arium body-and-neck construction gives the guitar an incredibly even, resonant feel with a response that stays consistent from the first fret to the last. The 26.5" scale keeps the tension tighter across all seven strings and the Richlite fretboard feels fast and smooth under your fingers. It has the precision and stability modern players want, but with a liveliness that keeps it from ever feeling sterile. The Hipshot Contour tremolo keeps the response immediate and solid, and the factory-installed Schaller Sure-Claw makes trem spring adjustments faster and more precise while improving tuning consistency under heavy use.
Tonally, this 070 is built for modern heavy music, but it is far more versatile than that suggests. The Seymour Duncan Nazgûl in the bridge delivers tight low-end response and enhanced note definition, making it ideal for lower tunings and fast riffing. The Seymour Duncan Sentient in the neck balances it out with warmth, clarity, and a smoother voice for leads or cleaner passages. Together, they cover a wide range while staying focused and controlled. This Aristides 070 in Bronze Oxidized is built for technical precision and crushing low-tuned aggression without compromise.
