The Novo Serus J Baritone Nucleus – NAMM 2026 Limited Edition in Inca Burst is a rare one.
This example is part of the exclusive Dennis Fano Signature series— essentially Novo’s equivalent of a masterbuilt instrument. These builds represent the very top of the Novo lineup: one-of-a-kind, limited edition guitars designed personally by Dennis Fano, featuring exotic woods, unique materials, custom specs, and finishes you simply won’t find anywhere else.
Built as a special release for NAMM 2026, this isn’t standard production — it’s a limited showcase piece, crafted to represent Novo at its best.
The Inca Burst finish against the 3-Ply Black pickguard is bold and timeless, with a Light distress that keeps it tasteful and broken-in. The tempered pine body delivers that airy, woody Novo resonance — but the real story is the 28" scale length.
At 28", this is a true baritone. Tighter string tension, deeper lows, and piano-like clarity that stays focused and defined. It feels huge without getting muddy.
The tempered maple (4/4) neck and East Indian rosewood fingerboard balance snap and warmth, while the Medium C (.830") carve feels substantial yet comfortable. The 9.5"-14" compound radius and Jescar 47095 medium frets (.095 x .047) keep everything smooth and articulate, even with Stringjoy 14-68s.
Loaded with Lollar Mini-Broilers (pair) and anchored by a Mastery M1 bridge and NV Vibrato w/ Lightning Bolt Arm, it’s powerful, stable, and expressive.
