Innovative. Bold. Artistic. Elegant. Unique. These are just a few words to describe the extraordinary Teuffel Niwa Prodigy #15, now available at The Vibrato Bar. In collaboration with Ulrich Teuffel, we’ve crafted a masterpiece that marries centuries-old artistry with cutting-edge design. Inspired by the rich heritage of pre-Amati Italian violins, this Niwa’s dark mahogany body features a mesmerizing ferro-acid treatment, reminiscent of baroque-era craftsmanship. The pseudo-burst effect wasn’t sprayed; it was sculpted—sanded meticulously to reveal the brighter hues of the wood’s core. A subtle black burst graces the edges, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The neck, a marvel in itself, channels the finish of antique violin necks. Stained to echo the body’s deep brown tones yet deliberately left bare between the 1st fret and the joint, it captures the authentic aesthetic of 18th-century string instruments. Its matte finish not only enhances the vintage vibe but also delivers effortless playability. Completing the look, gleaming chrome hardware juxtaposes the antique inspiration with modern refinement, making this instrument as striking visually as it is sonically. This is a rare opportunity to own a brand-new Teuffel Niwa Prodigy. With only 15 ever made, these guitars rarely, if ever, pop up for sale. This guitar transcends mere perfection—it’s a harmonious blend of history, art, and engineering. From the moment you hold it, playing becomes effortless, tone becomes alive, and you’ll understand: this is no ordinary guitar. Niwa Prodigy #15 is not just a guitar—it’s a rare fusion of art and innovation, destined to become the centerpiece of any collection.
