The James Tyler Studio Elite HDX in Cosmic Watermelon Shmear is exactly what you want from a great Tyler. It has that unmistakable Shmear look, but this one leans darker with the black base and hits of teal and purple sitting on top. It’s bold without feeling over the top, and the faux matching headstock keeps everything cohesive.
This one does what a Tyler should. It’s quick, responsive, and has that immediate attack that makes you want to play a little harder. The JTS5500s stay clear and open, while the Super in the bridge gives you the push when you need it. With the midboost and switching options, everything is right there without overthinking it. It just covers ground easily and sounds incredible doing it.
