This Harmony Jupiter Phat Cat isn’t just a guitar—it’s a piece of American guitar history. Built in the legendary old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, the very place where some of the most iconic instruments of the last century were born, this model carries a lineage and soul you simply won’t find in modern mass-produced guitars. Harmony’s roots date back to 1892, and the Jupiter reflects that legacy: a blend of classic American craftsmanship and modern, boutique-level refinement.
Finished in a sleek Black Sparkle nitrocellulose lacquer, the Jupiter offers soft body contours, an ergonomic armrest, and a familiar yet elegant silhouette. The genuine mahogany body and neck provide warmth and resonance, while the ebony fretboard adds snap and clarity.
Loaded with Seymour Duncan P90 Phat Cat pickups, this model delivers the punch, midrange bloom, and expressive grind that define great P90 tones—rich, dynamic, and endlessly musical. Orange Drop electronics, locking tuners, and a custom compensated half-bridge round out a build that’s both vintage-inspired and stage-ready. The original pickups were changed to Seymour Duncan Phat Cats with gold covers (SPH90-1B and SPH90-1N). The original pickups are also included with the guitar.
