The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty Premium Select represents the absolute top tier of the Majesty lineup. A hand-selected, ultra-premium version of John Petrucci’s flagship built with the finest woods, finishes, and appointments available from the Music Man factory. Every Premium Select is designed to showcase the Majesty platform at its highest level, combining elite craftsmanship with the exact performance demands of one of the most technical and expressive guitarists on the planet.
The Honduran mahogany neck-through construction paired with alder wings and a thick maple top gives this Majesty an incredibly rich and articulate voice. It has the weight and sustain you’d expect from a serious neck-through instrument, but with a clarity and immediacy that keeps every note defined, even under massive gain. The DiMarzio Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker pickups deliver Petrucci’s signature balance of tight low end, vocal mids, and smooth top end, while the onboard boost, piezo system, stereo capability, and extensive switching options make this one of the most versatile high-performance guitars ever built.
Visually, the Majesty Premium Select feels every bit as refined as its name suggests. The carved body contours, ebony fingerboard with Majesty shield inlays, matching finish neck, and sleek hardware package give it an unmistakably futuristic look while still feeling elegant and purposeful. Add in the flawless upper fret access, stainless steel frets, locking tuners, and incredibly ergonomic body design, and you have an instrument that feels engineered around the player in every possible way.
