Introducing the Empress Effects Heavy, a high-gain distortion pedal designed to deliver a vast spectrum of heavy tones, from crisp 80's metal to modern, scooped, down-tuned aggression. This compact unit offers two independent channels—Heavy and Heavier—allowing for versatile setups, whether you need a solo boost or entirely different voicings for each channel. Shape your sound with a 3-band EQ featuring selectable mid frequencies, and fine-tune the low-end response using the intuitive Weight control. A global hi/low EQ section ensures seamless integration with your amp and cab setup. To maintain clarity even at extreme gain levels, the Heavy includes a responsive noise gate with natural and aggressive settings. Built with an all-analog signal path and housed in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure, the Empress Effects Heavy is your key to achieving supremely heavy tones with precision and ease.
