Introducing the Empress Effects Compressor MKII, a compact yet powerful pedal that brings studio-quality compression to your pedalboard. Building upon the success of the original Compressor, the MKII offers enhanced features in a smaller enclosure, making it an essential tool for musicians seeking precise dynamic control.
Transparent Analog Compression: Utilizing a FET-based design, the Compressor MKII maintains the purity of your instrument's tone while providing versatile compression options.
Comprehensive Controls: Fine-tune your sound with independent attack and release knobs, a mix control for parallel compression, and a tilt EQ centered at 500Hz for tonal shaping.
Selectable Compression Ratios: Choose from 2:1, 4:1, or 10:1 ratios to achieve the desired level of compression, suitable for various musical styles.
Advanced Metering: Multi-segment LEDs display both input and gain reduction levels, offering real-time feedback for precise adjustments.
Sidechain Functionality: Incorporates a sidechain input with a selectable high-pass filter (off, 120Hz, 240Hz) to prevent low-frequency pumping and allow for creative compression techniques.
Pedalboard-Friendly Design: Approximately half the size of the original, the MKII saves valuable space without compromising functionality.
The Empress Effects Compressor MKII combines aesthetic appeal with top-tier performance, making it a versatile addition to any guitarist or bassist's setup.
