The USA-made Dunable Minotaur is what happens when boutique craftsmanship meets heavy music ergonomics. Originally inspired by Dunable’s discontinued Moonflower concept, the Minotaur takes that DNA and evolves it into a fully modern carved-top design — faster, lighter, more resonant, and purpose-built for players who demand feel and attack.
This particular example features a roasted swamp ash body paired with a roasted birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, creating a ridiculously stable platform with enhanced snap and clarity. The 25.5" scale gives you tight low-end response (drop tuners rejoice), while Dunable’s minimalist 1-volume/1-tone layout and pull-switch keep the controls fast and functional on stage.
Loaded with Dunable’s Grizzly pickups in aged nickel, this Minotaur has that perfect blend of teeth and girth — tight lows, aggressive mid character, and enough output to push a modern amp without washing out. The satin-matte burst finish with faux-binding gives it a boutique carved-top look without the weight or fragility of a vintage-style nitro instrument.
If you’re looking for a USA boutique guitar that can do doom, stoner, sludge, prog, hardcore, or modern metal — while still feeling insanely comfortable for everyday playing — the Minotaur hits the bullseye.
