The Cithara Pegasus Telecaster is a boutique, hand-built electric guitar crafted in Hamilton, Ontario, representing the highest level of Canadian custom shop workmanship. Designed and built by Daniel Clark, founder of Cithara Guitars, this instrument reflects a deep respect for traditional Tele-style designs paired with modern precision and uncompromising build quality.
Every Cithara guitar is built with an obsessive attention to detail—fit, finish, feel, and resonance are all dialed in at a level you expect from a true one-on-one luthier-built instrument. Daniel Clark brings old-world craftsmanship into a modern boutique context, producing instruments that feel alive in the hands and inspiring from the first note.
This Pegasus features a 25.5” scale length, 9.5” radius ebony fingerboard, and a beautifully figured flame maple neck finished in oil, offering a fast, natural feel with excellent response. The alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation, while custom MJS hand-wound Vintage Tele pickups deliver articulate, dynamic tones with clarity and touch sensitivity. Thoughtful hardware choices—including a modern 6-saddle Gotoh bridge, Ratio 6-in-line tuners, and chrome hardware—round out a build that prioritizes stability, intonation, and long-term reliability.
Finished in a stunning Lake Placid Blue with a tasteful light relic, the Pegasus Telecaster blends classic visual appeal with refined execution.
