This Suhr Classic S Custom is a killer combination of traditional styling, modern construction and a seriously cool custom finish. Finished in British Racing Green Metallic, the deep green has a subtle metallic flake that looks incredible against the roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It's a classic color with a completely different personality on a guitar like this.
The chambered two-piece swamp ash body is another standout feature. Lightweight and resonant, the chambered construction adds an open, airy character, while the F-hole gives the guitar a distinctive look. Paired with the roasted maple neck, Even C Medium profile and Indian rosewood fingerboard, it's an exceptionally comfortable and responsive instrument.
The pickup configuration is where things get particularly interesting. Suhr V60LP single-coils in the neck and middle deliver the vintage Strat-style tones you'd expect, with plenty of clarity, warmth and chime. The SSV humbucker in the bridge adds the extra output and fullness that makes this guitar so versatile. Suhr's SSCII system keeps the single-coil noise under control without sacrificing their character.
A Suhr two-post tremolo and locking tuners round out a build that's every bit as functional as it is beautiful.
