More than just a new model, the Tekton represents an entirely new family of guitars, purpose-built for modern, technically demanding players. Featuring the thinnest bodies and necks PRS has ever produced in standard production, stainless steel frets, flatter fingerboards, and all-new Stylus pickups engineered for traditional amplifiers and digital rigs alike, the Tekton marks one of the most significant expansions of the PRS lineup in years.
The PRS Tekton T brings this new platform to life with a two-point tremolo and an absolutely spectacular Violet Tourmaline finish. The highly figured Mango top is the star here, with incredibly tight, dramatic figuring running across the entire body. The finish shifts between deep violet, smoky purple and flashes of green depending on the lighting and viewing angle. It's an extraordinary combination of wood and color, made even more striking by the contrasting natural Maple neck and dark Ebony fingerboard.
Underneath that incredible top is a serious modern performance instrument. The lightweight, sculpted Mahogany body features a shallow violin carve and exceptional upper-fret access, while the ultra-thin Modern D neck, 25.5" scale, 16" Ebony fingerboard and stainless steel jumbo frets deliver an incredibly fast, effortless playing experience.
The all-new PRS Stylus pickups offer exceptional clarity, articulation and dynamic response, with a versatile push/pull coil-split configuration equally at home through traditional amplifiers or modern digital rigs. A PRS two-point tremolo, Phase III locking tuners and Smoked Black hardware complete the package.
A completely new direction for PRS, with a spectacular top and finish that make this particular Tekton T something truly special.
