PRS Custom 24 "Birds of a Feather" Limited Edition | Blood Red

The Custom 24 Birds of a Feather Limited Edition is restricted to just 360 guitars worldwide for 2026, bringing one of the most distinctive Private Stock inlay packages to a production Custom 24 for the first time. Designed by Paul Miles, head of Private Stock, the Birds of a Feather inlay has historically required stepping all the way into PRS Private Stock territory. It completely transforms the fingerboard, with individual birds gradually gathering into a dense flock before dispersing again. Even the headstock gets the special treatment with the Prefactory Eagle, making this immediately recognizable as something well outside a standard Custom 24.

And this particular example is ridiculous. PRS selected an Artist Grade figured maple top, and the figuring is incredibly unique, with tight, chaotic movement running across virtually the entire surface. The deep red finish absolutely explodes over the maple before falling into near black around the perimeter. Paired with the natural mahogany back, ebony and figured maple fingerboard, clear lampshade knobs and nickel hardware, there is a ton going on visually without taking away from what makes a Custom 24 unmistakably PRS.

Underneath all of that is the guitar that helped define PRS. You get the classic 25 inch scale, 24 frets and Pattern Thin mahogany neck, along with a Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons. A pair of PRS DMO pickups is controlled through volume and tone controls with a five way blade, delivering everything from full humbucker power to the articulate split sounds that have made the Custom 24 such an incredibly versatile platform.

There are plenty of limited PRS models, but this one offers something genuinely difficult to get otherwise. Only 360 exist worldwide, and the centerpiece is an inlay package normally reserved for Private Stock, wrapped around one of PRS's most important guitars and finished here with an absolutely killer Artist Grade top. This is a seriously special Custom 24.
