The Sprayer's Choice program gives PRS's finish team the freedom to build something they genuinely want to create, and every now and then they land on one that just feels... right. This Electric Lime Custom 24-08 is one of those guitars. The star of the show is an absolutely ridiculous Flame Maple 10-Top, with tight, curly figuring that has a three-dimensional quality. The Electric Lime finish brings every line of that maple to life, shifting between vivid lime and deeper green as the light moves across the violin carve.
What really completes the look is how PRS carried the color across the rest of the instrument. The figured maple remains translucent on the face, while the mahogany back and neck are finished in a matching opaque metallic Electric Lime. It gives the guitar a completely different personality from every angle and makes the whole thing feel like one cohesive custom creation. The Hybrid hardware is the perfect finishing touch, adding just enough gold against the green without taking anything away from that insane top.
Beneath it all is the flagship Custom 24-08 platform. The Pattern Thin neck feels instantly familiar, the Gen III tremolo is effortlessly smooth, and the TCI pickups paired with the dual mini toggles offer one of the most versatile electronic layouts PRS has ever put into a Core model.
