The Tom Anderson Angel Player is Anderson’s take on the full-on modern Super Strat, combining the familiar double-cut formula with 24-fret access, streamlined ergonomics and the precision the brand is known for. This Anderson Custom keeps the aesthetic especially clean with a Lavender high-gloss finish over an Alder body, complemented by chrome hardware, nickel-covered humbuckers and a natural Caramel Maple neck. The offset high-and-low fret markers add a subtle modern detail without taking away from the minimalist look.
The Caramel Maple neck features Anderson’s slimmer Even-Taper -.020 profile, a 12"–14" compound radius and Jumbo stainless steel frets, giving it the fast, precise feel you want from a Super Strat. Locking tuners, a Vintage Tremolo and the Buzz Feiten Tuning System round out a very performance-focused setup.
Electronics come from an HC1 neck and hotter HC3 bridge humbucker, with 5-way switching adding series and split sounds to the traditional two-humbucker formula. It gives the Angel considerably more range than its simple and clean appearance suggests, while keeping the controls and overall design remarkably clean.
