Its solid mahogany body provides a rich, focused tonal foundation with natural warmth and strong midrange presence, while the vintage-style pickguard adds timeless visual character. Paired with a 25" scale, 22-fret bolt-on maple neck, and comfortable Wide Thin profile, the SE Studio Standard feels instantly familiar and easy to play, whether you’re practicing at home, tracking in the studio, or playing live.
At the heart of this guitar is its versatile three-pickup layout: a PRS 58/15 LT “S” humbucker in the bridge position combined with Narrowfield DD “S” pickups in the middle and neck. This setup delivers everything from warm, full humbucker tones to clear, articulate single-coil-style sounds. With a 5-way blade switch and push/pull tone control, you can quickly dial in a wide range of usable voices for virtually any genre.
Finished with PRS’s patented tremolo, PRS-designed tuners, and dependable hardware, the SE Studio Standard is built to handle real-world playing without fuss.
