Built with a swamp ash body and a 22-fret, 25.5” scale length bolt-on maple neck and fretboard, the SE NF 53 captures the timeless essence of an electric guitar while showcasing PRS’s renowned build quality and attention to detail.
Equipped with a pair of PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups, this model offers a bold, musical voice with exceptional clarity and power — all without the hum. These Deep Dish (DD) pickups use taller bobbins for extra winds and additional metal pieces between the magnets, resulting in a focused, punchy tone that stays articulate even under gain. The “S” variation enhances low-end response while delivering the snarl and twang that define this guitar’s character.
Simple yet versatile, the control layout features a volume and tone knob with a 3-way blade pickup selector, letting players shape their sound effortlessly. The steel plate-style bridge with brass barrel saddles contributes to the SE NF 53’s lively resonance and sustain, rounding out its distinctive tone.
