The PRS S2 Vela is a fresh take on PRS’s renowned craftsmanship—an American-made offset electric guitar that combines vintage vibe with modern performance. As the first PRS model to feature an offset body shape, the Vela stands out with sleek curves, a lightweight feel, and exceptional playability.
Under the hood, it’s loaded with a PRS DS-01 bridge humbucker and a Type-D neck single-coil, delivering bright, punchy tones with plenty of dynamic range. A coil-tap on the tone control unlocks crisp single-coil sounds, giving you a versatile sonic palette that covers everything from twangy cleans to gritty overdrive.
The Vela features a plate-style PRS bridge with two brass saddles—designed for enhanced sustain, resonance, and spot-on intonation. Whether you’re recording in the studio or gigging on stage, the S2 Vela is a reliable workhorse with a bold personality and classic PRS tone.
