PRS Custom 24-08 DMO Limited Sprayer's Choice Wood Library | Magenta Purple Burst

This spec brings together DMO Limited, Sprayer’s Choice and Wood Library, but it is the way PRS carried the finish through the entire guitar that really separates it. The Flame Maple 10 Top is finished in a wild magenta and deep purple Sprayer’s Choice burst, with incredibly tight figuring running across the entire top. The bright magenta center gives way to rich purple around the edges, making the figure jump out even harder. As a Sprayer’s Choice, it sits outside the normal PRS color catalog and gives this particular guitar an identity all its own.

What really makes this one special is the matching figured maple neck. Rather than leaving that incredible piece of maple natural, PRS carried the same magenta and purple treatment down the entire neck. The mahogany back gets a rich transparent purple finish of its own, while the Ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer, Old School Outline Birds and smoked black hardware tie everything together. Front, back and neck all received their own treatment, but the entire guitar still looks like one cohesive build.

The Wood Library spec backs up the looks with a one piece figured maple Pattern Thin neck, Ziricote fretboard and matching Ziricote headstock veneer. DMO humbuckers bring PRS’s Dynamic, Musical, Open voice to the Custom 24 08 platform, with a three way toggle and individual mini toggle EQ switches providing plenty of flexibility. A Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners round out the build.

DMO Limited. Sprayer’s Choice. Wood Library. Add the matching figured maple neck and full body treatment, and this is about as close as you can get to the feel of a one off custom PRS without stepping into Private Stock.
