This one stands out with a Spruce top over Swamp Ash, finished in a beautiful Antique Black that gives it a bold, vintage-modern vibe. The semi-hollow construction keeps everything airy and resonant, adding a natural acoustic bloom to each note. Its familiar 11-ply neck (maple, mahogany, wenge, amazakoe) is paired with a fretless maple board featuring short fretlines and subtle MOP dots — a combination that delivers a brighter, more immediate attack than ebony, with tons of expressive, vocal-like glide. Lightweight, responsive, and incredibly alive under the fingers, this Cali has a uniquely articulate and singing fretless voice.
